Listen!!! It was the sounds of learning experiences, as well as hearing the peaceful sounds in the early morning in the deep woods. Wow!!!! What an educational, hands on learning experience. Our first year of Winona School set the stage for the future. Every questionnaire from students shared similar experiences.
Starting on Sunday evening with the “Explorer of Light” program by Cannon, presented by Don Emmerick, to the early bird program by Joe Craig. All students loved the sharing within and outside of the class rooms.“It was incredible.” Not only did people learn from their instructors, but also from each other in their class. They also shared after ours with those in other classes at lunch and social times in the hospitality cabins and digital cafe.
One evening with switching instructors and going on a shoot out helped students learn a little from each instructor. Socializing on the decks over hanging the valleys of Brown County St. Park, the ambience set the stage for ahighly educational experience.
Not only did students get an education, but there was time to relax and enjoy nature. Some students brought their family and enjoyed biking, the water park and went shopping in Nashville, the quaint little town that it is.
Join us in 2010 for the same kind of experience!
